Kamille when I first met her she was modeling for a prom dress company in high school. Then she drove all the way from Fillmore to Logan for senior photos. I asked her at her session if she had a boyfriend. She said she was waiting for a missionary. Not to long after she was engaged and this time I drove to her for her engagements. Maclayne is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. Super nice and treats Kamille like a queen. Always calling her ‘baby doll’. Cutest nickname ever. Maclayne wanted to wait to see Kamille in her wedding dress until the wedding day. Kamille and I met at Snow Canyon for the most amazing bridals. Best part? It was so warm. If you are ever getting married in the winter, Saint George is the way to go!
Flash forward to the wedding day and it was clear skies and warm. The day before was not the best weather so we were worried but it turned out amazing. They radiated happiness as they exited the Provo City Center Temple. Hugging their friends and family. Then we took a walk around the temple for family photos and boy it was cold in the shade. We were quick and made the best memories!
Later that day they had a luncheon at the Stevens Hotel in Fillmore. Apparently it is a haunted hotel that is currently being renovated. A beautiful building with amazing character to it. After the luncheon they had their reception right next door in another part of the Stevens Hotel. With every detail thought out from the table settings right down to the lids on the milk bottles. They had a nacho bar and cookies and a glass of milk for their guests. The backdrops were made out of an old shed that was going to get torn down so they built the doors and backdrops out of it. I loved how they showed what was important to them in every decoration. They brought saddles, old bits, and hay bales for decoration. As they chatted with their guests the bridesmaids and groomsmen made sure to get Kamille’s truck really good. I’ve never thought of using chalk before. They cut the cake and were super nice to each other and had no cake smashing here but don’t you worry we had bridesmaids diving for the bouquet. After they had their first dance, daddy and daughter dance, and mom and son dance followed by cotton eye joe. I may or may not of joined in on it for that dance. And the night was ending the guests lit their heart shaped sparklers to send the happy couple off to their honeymoon and Kamille’s reaction to her truck was the best.
Happy Wedding Kamille & Maclayne!
