Preparing for your engagement session is hard. Not knowing what to even do and when to do it? Here are some of my tips to help have the most amazing engagement photos people die over.

Professional Makeup.

This is one I highly stress. I know some brides are worried they will look like they have too much makeup on but in photos it is hardly any. The camera naturally softens your face and you wont be able to tell. I highly recommend hiring someone experienced in this kind of thing because they know exactly what the camera hides that they need to define. Spray Tans.

I know this is another hesitant thing to do. Do your research and look for reviews when it comes to spray tans. I do recommend them to give yourself more color and if you are worried you look too orange take another shower before the session to help scrub some of it off.

Clean your Ring.

Most jewelers offer free ring cleanings and because we will be getting shorts of your ring I recommend getting it clean before each and every session.

Get your Hair & Nails done.

Make sure to get your hair freshly dyed if you dye your hair or if you often do make sure to get it done the week of or week before your session. As mentioned before since we will be photographing your ring it will be on your hand for some of the time so we recommend getting your nails done as well. Even a little bit of gel looks good.
